Surveyors Ombudsman Service
The Ombudsman Service for Chartered Surveying Firms and their customers, providing a free and independent service. Their job is to investigate complaints fairly by listening to both sides of the story and looking at the facts.
The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR, formerly DTI) has approved the Surveyors Ombudsman Service under the Housing Act as a redress scheme for the purposes of HIP-related complaints against surveyors and estate agents which are members of the scheme.
